Terms & returns

Last updated 25 August 2026. These terms apply to orders placed on this website. They are a working draft for a UK consumer shop — have a solicitor review them before trading.

1. Who we are

Indigo Ori is the trading name of Indigo Ori Ltd.Limited company incorporation in progress in England and Wales. Instagram: @indigoori. Email: hello@indigo-ori.co.uk. Your contract is with us. Contact via the business page or Instagram.

2. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the goods are available and you pay. We may refuse an order (stock, pricing error, suspected fraud).

3. Prices & payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Not VAT-registered, so VAT is not charged. Delivery is confirmed when we accept the order. Payment is by Card (Stripe), Bank transfer (UK Faster Payments), PayPal. In the event of an obvious pricing error we may cancel and refund in full.

4. Delivery

UK addresses only, tracked with Royal Mail. Postage is a flat £4.20. We do not ship outside the United Kingdom. We post once payment is received; Royal Mail typically takes 1–3 working days. Risk passes on delivery; title passes when we receive payment in full. See shipping.

5. Cooling-off (change of mind)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Notify us, then return the goods within a further 14 days. You pay return postage unless we agree otherwise or the goods are faulty. We refund the price and standard delivery within 14 days of receiving the return, if the goods come back in the condition below.

6. Condition of returns

Change-of-mind returns must be unused and as sold: unworn (beyond a brief try-on as in a shop), unwashed, with original tags, and not damaged by you. Do not send back garments that have been worn out of the house, stained, altered, or treated with perfume, deodorant, fabric freshener (including Febreze or similar sprays) or other scents. Those items have diminished value. We may refuse the return or deduct from the refund. This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

7. Hygiene exceptions

The change-of-mind right does not apply to sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed (for example underwear, swimwear or socks once the seal is broken). Faulty or misdescribed goods remain covered by your statutory rights.

8. Faulty goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Within 30 days of delivery you may reject faulty goods for a full refund. After that you may request repair or replacement; if that fails, a price reduction or final rejection. We cover reasonable return costs for valid claims. These rights cannot be excluded.

9. Sizing & descriptions

Japanese sizing often differs from UK sizing. Colours may vary by screen. Please use the size guide. We are not responsible for an incorrect size choice unless the goods were misdescribed.

10. Sourcing

We sell from our own stock. We do not dropship. Pieces are cut for the Japanese market. A garment is described as made in Japan only when that is true. Otherwise the country of manufacture is on the label inside.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that English law does not allow us to limit — including your statutory rights. Subject to that, our total liability for a claim arising from an order is limited to the price paid for those goods.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections if you live elsewhere in the UK.
